Wow things are getting even more interesting.
First of all, out of no where, Microsoft decides it wants to buy Yahoo! and makes a bid to the board of directors. Then Yahoo! says no not interested we’re fine, but then starts asking other companies to merge with them. Microsoft isn’t happy and starts making public, so that Yahoo!’s shareholders can see, the offer it has made and why it should go ahead. Exciting hey? 
Then rumours start that Yahoo! is in negotiations with many different companies to make Microsoft go away, companies such as Google and News Corp among others. Each rumour then fades away and Microsoft in the mean time keeps sending letters to Yahoo! telling them they have no choice, they have to accept their bid.
Now the latest, is that Microsoft may be teaming up with News Corp so they they can possibly raise the bid (which is what Yahoo! wanted all along) and the takeover can continue, however Yahoo! is now supposedly in talks with AOL/Time Warner to merge and become one.
This is so much fun to see playing out and I can’t wait to see what actually ends up happening.
